2. CAN I BOOK ON-SITE?

Asia Trip Deals services can only be booked in advance online or by phone. We recommend booking your tours or travel arrangements as early as possible to guarantee a quality reservation for a perfect trip.

3. CAN I ORGANIZE MY OWN GROUP?

Yes, absolutely! Moreover, thanks to our flexibility and experience in organizing complete private tours, we can provide you with a special offer with exceptional service, including a complimentary space for the tour leader. Our offer is available for all groups starting from 15 people.

4. ARE CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED ON-SITE?

Credit cards are widely accepted in major cities such as Hanoi, Halong, Sapa, Tam Coc, Saigon, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue, Hoi An, etc. Most restaurants, cafes, and travel agencies accept Visa, Mastercard, Diner Club, and American Express cards. Additional fees may be applied depending on the location, generally around 3% of your bill. You can also withdraw money from numerous ATMs in the cities you visit. However, in rural or mountainous areas, make sure to carry local currency in cash.

5. RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

Our system accepts payment with all major credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, and American Express (including prepaid cards). If you use a credit card with a different name from the main traveler, we request a copy of the card and the cardholder’s identification, along with an authorization letter. Additional documents may be required in certain cases.

6. IS MY CREDIT CARD SECURE?

Booking with Asia Trip Deals  is secure! We use the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer and all other common browsers. SSL encrypts your personal information, such as your password, address, and phone number. We use one of the leading SSL certificate providers. We do not store any credit card information in our database. They are directly sent to the payment gateway for the transaction.

7. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

To ensure availability for our service, we recommend booking as early as possible. You can contact our customer service by email to get the most up-to-date rates.

8. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE BOOKING CONFIRMATION?

Most requests are confirmed at the time of booking. However, some activities may be confirmed within 72 hours. If you do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, please contact our customer service for assistance.

9. WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL TO VIETNAM?

Vietnam is generally located in a tropical zone with more than 10 months of sunshine per year and high humidity, allowing for lush vegetation and the opportunity to enjoy landscapes, colors, beaches, and delicious food at any time. 10. LOCAL SAFETY

Vietnam is considered one of the safest holiday destinations in the world with very low crime rates. However, we always recommend that our clients exercise caution with their belongings by storing important documents and valuables in hotel safes and carrying minimal cash to avoid theft, which can occasionally occur in large cities.

11. I AM TRAVELING ALONE. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Generally, solo travelers have a very safe environment in Vietnam. At the time of writing this information, we have not heard of issues such as harassment. You will likely find that the Vietnamese are very welcoming, warm, and helpful.

12. DO I NEED A VISA FOR VIETNAM?

Starting from June 18, 2015, the Vietnamese government adopted a resolution to exempt visa requirements for citizens of five European countries: England, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France, for stays not exceeding 15 days. For stays longer than 15 days, a visa is required. This new regulation is in effect for a five-year period, from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2019, and may be renewed according to Vietnamese law.

13. HOW TO SHOP IN VIETNAM?

Shopping in Vietnam is a genuine pleasure due to the impressive selection of traditional handmade products. It’s also a great opportunity to communicate and interact with the Vietnamese people during your shopping. You will also make a significant contribution to support the Vietnamese economy, and we thank you for that. However, be sure to have enough money and space in your luggage!

14. WHAT IS THE VIETNAMESE CURRENCY?

The Vietnamese DONG (VND). The current exchange rate to the US dollar is approximately: 1 USD = 24,500.00 VND.

15. WHERE CAN I EXCHANGE MONEY?

You can purchase Vietnamese dong upon arrival at the airport exchange counter, at your hotel’s reception, or in city exchange offices (banks).

16. DO I NEED TO PAY AIRPORT TAX IN VIETNAM?

No, as all costs are currently included in the airfare.

17. MOBILE PHONE AND INTERNET IN VIETNAM

Mobile phone networks cover most of the country, and international roaming is available (contact your service provider before leaving home). In Vietnam, a significant percentage of the population uses the internet. You can use free Wi-Fi in hotels, restaurants, and even in homes in the mountains.

19. WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. It is advisable for all travelers to purchase travel insurance before departure. It will be useful in case of emergency medical evacuation. Travel insurance covers hospital and medical expenses, medical evacuation, and expenses resulting from unexpected accidents or illnesses that occur during the trip.

20. DO I NEED VACCINATIONS BEFORE TRAVELING?

Vietnamese authorities do not officially require vaccinations. However, it is advisable to be vaccinated against cholera, hepatitis, typhoid, tetanus, polio, and Japanese encephalitis. We recommend consulting your doctor for additional medical advice. Also, bring mosquito repellent. It is recommended to wear long-sleeved shirts and pants from dusk and to avoid using perfumes. Make sure to bring an adequate supply of any medications you take, along with a copy of your prescription. Bring medications for headaches, gastrointestinal issues, insect bites, sore throats, cuts, and eye drops, among others. Medical standards, except in Hanoi and Saigon, Siem Reap, and Luang Prabang, are lower than those in Western countries.
