Late morning, we leave Manggis and proceed to Munduk. A few stops will be made on the way to break the journey. First stop at a cave temple with bats buzzing around the shrines. High up in the mountains of Central Bali, Penelokan is perched on the edge of the crater of Mt Batur, and its name means ‘place to look’.
You will enjoy breathtaking views over the volcano and the lake of Batur. Passing Petang Village, you’ll be delighted by a diverse range of fruit and vegetable plantations lining the road, all while being surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views. Your journey will bring you to the tranquil village of Munduk, late in the afternoon.

Today you will drive to Lake Tamblingan, situated at about 1.2 meters above sea level, with mighty Mount Catur rising from its eastern shore, the climate in Lake Tamblingan is pleasantly cool all year round. You will hike the rain forest surrounding this lake, ending with canoe trip across to the shore where the car awaits. The alternative is short trek nearby the village of Munduk to find a twin waterfall about 1.2 meters. After lunch, return back to the resort and rest of the day at leisure.

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of a typical Balinese family and witness the traditional rules governing the construction of house compounds. These rules are deeply rooted in Balinese Hinduism and hold significant philosophical importance. You’ll also have the chance to observe a Balinese village lady crafting temple offerings and other unique items, offering an engaging experience, especially for children. Creating these offerings is an integral part of daily life for the Balinese people.

Today, after breakfast, we’ll drive to Ngurah Rai Airport to check-in for the flight to Lombok. As you arrive at Lombok International Airport, you’ll across Gili Air island. Upon reaching the there, a cidomo or horse cart will transfer you to your resort, and the rest of the day is yours to explore the stunning surroundings.
Please note that there are no motorized vehicles on the island, but you can hire a cidomo for exploration. Additionally, the speedboat transfer is not suitable for pregnant women, those with heart or back problems, physical impediments, or children under 5 years old.

Overnight in Lombok.

On this excursion, you have the option to embark on a glass-bottom boat adventure that will take you to Trawangan, another one of the Gili Islands. Along the way, you’ll pass by mesmerizing blue coral spots and turtle nesting areas. Continuing this sea voyage, the next stop is Meno, another of the Gili Islands, where you can engage in snorkeling at the captivating ‘Meno Wall’ and possibly catch sight of the majestic Manta Stingray. Moving on to the third Gili, the island of Air awaits at the northeastern corner, where you can enjoy a notable experience involving fish feeding.

You will explore the village of Sade, which is renowned for its traditional architecture. The village is designed with a central courtyard, and the houses are built close together, creating a sense of community. After visiting Sade, you’ll take a brief journey to the southern coast near Kuta village. The nature along an eight-kilometer coastal road from Kuta to Tanjung Aan and Grupuk, running parallel to the bay’s beach, is truly splendid.The trip concludes with a visit to Banyumulek, a key pottery center within Lombok’s trio, situated to the west of Lembar’s main road.
