Following pick-up from your hotel, head to the Kintamani region to hike your way up Mount Batur. This iconic, extremely-active volcano draws many visitors from around the world with its beauty and promise of adventure. Meet your local guide very early in the morning, not forgetting your head torch and warm clothes.

Start climbing in the dark and then experience the sunrise from both the crater and the summit above, one of Bali’s most spectacular sights and most definitely worth the long hike. Fuel up with an early morning breakfast of hot tea and eggs cooked in volcanic soil. Have a chance to explore around the crater before you descend back down the mountain. After a stop at nearby hot springs to soak off and soothe any aching muscles after the hike, visit a local coffee plantation.

Next visit Tukad Cepung, a very unique waterfall in the hidden valley of a thick jungle. Enjoy the natural beauty of this spot, as Tukad Cepung Waterfall is virtually unknown and unexplored. This is as close to nature as you can get. You will have to climb a flight of steps to get to the scenic waterfall, but remember to look up and see the cliffs encircling the surroundings, with the waterfall flowing from the river above. A most breathtaking sight to enjoy and of course to photograph!

In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel and have the unique chance of discovering the secrets of authentic Balinese cuisine on this full-day cooking tour in a traditional village.

Our first stop is at a local market where personal assistants help you choose all the fresh ingredients, such as vegetables, herbs, meat and spices, that you will use for your cooking class. Next, visit a rice plantation and learn about the cultivation and preparation of this staple ingredient for all Balinese meals. While there, enjoy scenic views of these stunning natural surroundings.

Continue your tour to Laplapan village, a traditional Balinese village, and be warmly welcomed by the local villagers. Learn the secret of preparing Balinese food with the ingredients you have chosen. Expert chefs are on hand to provide guidance and assistance throughout the cooking class. Interact with your fellow cooks and discover handy techniques as you prepare three starters, four main courses and one Balinese dessert. After your informative cooking lesson, sit down and enjoy the satisfying and delicious Balinese meals you have created.

The next activity is the Bali Sky Bikes and Swing. Enjoy the beautiful view while flying through the air over the most stunning Balinese scenery. This unique adventure lets you ride a bicycle way up in the treetops! It’s like a zip line but you decide how fast you go depending on whether you want to pedal fast or slow. This is the highest sky bike trail of its kind so you know you’re going to get an amazing experience with breathtaking views!

Experience the thrill of this exhilarating water and off-road jungle driving-based activity. Test your nerves and your driving skills as you navigate through white water rapids (approximately 60 minutes) on super cool inflatable rafts and then enjoy the off-road dirt trails (approximately 60 minutes) with these fun 4-wheel-drive, all-terrain buggies.

Enjoy a fun-filled day trip through authentic Balinese villages and some of the most picturesque parts of Bali, in a comfortable and luxurious Land Rover equipped with picnic baskets and refreshments. The journey leads you away from the main roads and busy highways on to back roads and through the authentic villages of the real Bali.

First stop is a natural stone quarry where villagers have been cutting the stone out of a dry river bed for generations. From there the trip continues to an agricultural village where you will discover the fragrance of strong Balinese coffee being roasted and enjoy the traditional Balinese snacks which have been freshly prepared for you. Learn to make ‘canang’, the most important element of Balinese temple offerings and take an optional 30 minutes trek through the spectacular and verdant rice fields.

Your adventure continues with a drive high into the mountains through the UNESCO recognized rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Enjoy a sumptuous traditional Balinese lunch, served in the Bamboo Forest Restaurant surrounded by giant bamboo in a rain forest on the slopes of Mount Batukaru. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, tea or Balinese coffee in the glorious open-air canopy. Have a go at playing the traditional Balinelse musical instrument called the rindik or just leave it to the experts and simply enjoy the music.

After lunch, you will visit the Batukaru temple, a unique sacred mountain sanctuary and royal temple of the Tabanan dynasty. It was founded in the 11th century by Empu Kuturan, a great Hindu Sage who established six main temples on the island of Bali. Here you can pay your respects with the ‘canang’ that you made as an offering to the Gods.

Lying 12 miles to the southeast of the Badung strait, Nusa Lembongan is Bali’s own version of a beautiful island getaway, with an unspoiled culture and an exceptionally tranquil and unhurried island ambience.
