Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our local guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the time is on your own leisure.

Today we will visit Yangon‘s colonial-style city center, Mahabandoola Park and Town Hall. You will be transferred to Yangon Railway station to take local circular train journey to the outskirts of town (45 minutes ride). The slowly traveling train gives you a unique opportunity to observe the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people.  Disembark to visit Insein market where a variety of street vendors sell colorful wares.  Enjoy exploring the market and meeting the friendly locals before returning by road to Yangon.

Have local cuisine in a nearby restaurant for lunch. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent reclining Buddha at ChaukHtatGyi. In the afternoon, you will find all the souvenirs on your list at bustling Bogyoke Market (formerly Scott’s), which is closed on Monday.

And end the way with a visit to historic Shwedagon Pagoda – one of the wonders of the world, towering almost 100m above the city-scape, believed to have been built over 2500 yrs ago. We will drive back to hotel with a lovely sunset.

This morning you will go Golden Rock and on the way, visit to Bago by road. You will start visiting to Bago Market. After seeing over a thousand years old Shwemawdaw Pagoda which is higher than the Shwedagon Pagoda. You will proceed to the Kin Pun‘base camp’ (110 km – 3 ½ hrs).

The tour will continue to one of Myanmar’s landmarks which is famous for its precarious position and religious importance: Kyaikhtiyo the ‘Golden Rock ‘. To reach the pagoda from Kin Pun Camp a steep 11 km long road leads to the upper staging point.  The journey is made in open trucks which are very crowded. (Private trucks are available at extra costs – please ask your guid to arrange).The ‘upper area’ must be traveled by foot, and the walk is approximately 4km (45 minutes) up a steep path which ascends some 500 m to the Golden Rock. On arrival you can enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Yangon – Kyaiktiyo -0

Early sunrise time, strolling around the hill sites & return to hotel & breakfast there. Then go back to base camp from the hill. Arrive base camp, continuous drive to Bago, then proceeded to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Hninthargone Pagoda, Very huge Snake Pagoda, Seintharlyaung.  Lunch at Bago, or on the way. Then proceed to Yangon on the way sightseeing at Htuk Kyaunt war cemetery (second war soldiers allied). Return to Yangon in the late afternoon and visit Chaukhtat Gyi – A huge reclining Buddha Image, and Kaba Aye Pagoda – World Peace Pagoda. Upon the arrival in Yangon, transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Yangon .

This morning transfer to airport for flight to Heho.  Upon arrival, we will drive to Kalaw, popular hill station in the British days, Kalaw sits high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau. It is still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial era. The small population is a mix of Shan, Indian Muslim, Bamar and Nepali. Thein Taung Paya: temple perched on the hill overlooking the Thazi-Taunggyi Road. Aung Chang Tha Zedi: glittering stupa (Buddhist religious monument) covered in gold-coloured mosaics. Nee Paya: located west of the town, it features a gold lacquered bamboo Buddha.

We will start a short trekking (3 hours to 4 hours) to Paine Pin village surrounding area and visit the hill tribes’ villages in their colorful costumes.

After breakfast, drive to Pindaya, located on the mountain top of 1,300 meters above sea level, on the way, visit market places of Shan state. Arrival at Pindaya for check-in at hotel. And visit the place’s famous natural limestone caves with sacred Buddha images inside which are named as Shwe Oo Min pagoda. Then go to the meditation center or a monastery for meditation activity. After that, visit some local houses where families produce Shan paper and arasols. Also walking around the lake, under the colossal Banyan trees dated over 300 years old.

Overnight in Pindaya.

Departure to NyaungShwe village, gate way to Inle lake, we will visit to Shwe Yan Pyay Monasteries. Observe the leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles.

Visit NgaHpe Chaung monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images. Continue to Phaung DawOo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.

Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand. We can also visit a local silk weaving ‘factory’ which sits on stilts on the lake and where they still use old style hand looms.  If time permits, there may be time to enjoy a short walk through one of the lakeside villages.

Breakfast at hotel, then travel one hour by road to Taunggyi, continue for about one more hour to Kakku. Visit the Kakku pagoda, complex of over 2000 stupas. Lunch at local restaurant. Unknown Shan Buddha images of various sizes are kept on the wall of the small shallow Htan-Pha-Ya cave. Visit a typical Pao village including their plantations on the way back to Taunggyi.

Flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport, welcome by our local guide and transfer to your hotel.

Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar Kingdom before the annexation of British in 1885. The period of kingdom was very short, but the name Mandalay becomes well known by “Rudyard Kipling”. The royal palace wall surrounded by the moat is one of the great things to see and it has been re-created after 1945, by 2nd War World.

We’ll drive former capitals of Amarapura and visit U Pain Bridge, the whole bridge done with entire wood. We will visit Mahamuni pagoda, one of the country’s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with gold leaf for hundreds of layers. And then visit to Marble carving workshop and Gold- Leaf beating workshop.

In the afternoon visit Shwe Nan Daw Monastery, Ku ThoDaw Pagoda and enjoy the sunset at Mandalay hill.

This morning we will visit Mandalay Zangyo , locate at the center of the town . And then proceed to Inwa, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries and visit by horse and carriage the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace and fort, and the Maha Aungmye Bonzan and Htihlaing Shin Paya.

In the afternoon cross the bridge over the Irrawaddy River and continue to Sagaing. Covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing Hill is widely regarded as the religious center of Myanmar and is home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centers. After all back to Mandalay and visit to Jade Market.

After breakfast you’ll board a private local boat for a trip up the Irrawaddy to Mingun (45 min each way). Visit the Mingun Bell which weighs more than 87 tons and being the world’s largest intact bronze bell, the unfinished Mingun Paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda).

Mingun’s other highlight is the Hisnbyume Pagoda, a white-washed temple built to resemble Mount Meru. Throughout Mingun there are small neighborhoods crafting traditional basketry and other artistic items and there is plenty of time to stop and interact with the craftsmen and friendly locals. After returning to Mandalay in the afternoon continues sightseeing and visits the ruined remains of the Royal Palace.

This evening, enjoy a commanding overview of the city from the Mandalay Hill.

Flight to Bagan. After hotel check-in, visit to the vibrant Nyaung U Market, unveil the glory of Bagan’s history by visits to archeological treasures such as the Shwezigon Pagoda for its impressive bell-shaped stupa, Dhaman Yan Gyi and graceful Htilominlo Temple with its delicate plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

Continue to discover the ancient and most treasured handicrafts of lacquering by a demonstration from skilled artisan. Explore the amazing mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO at Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple, and enjoy your soothing sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Overnight in Bagan.

You will be picked up at early morning for ballooning ride. You can enjoy Bagan perspectives on air at sunrise.  After breakfast, today drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano over 1,500m high, about 48km south east of Bagan. Mount Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since the earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the Popa-TaungKalat volcanic peak is simply breathtaking.

On the way back to Bagan, along the way we will stop in a local village where the people use the fruit of the palm tree to make wine and molasses. Witness the incredible production process and will enjoy the palm juice. Then return to Bagan.

Today more than just temples, our tour introduces you to provide a great overview of Bagan’s history, culture and local lifestyles. Today see the real way of life for most Myanmar people by visiting villages near Bagan to view the local lifestyle. Then you will explore Bagan from a different perspective as you explore the area by Pony cart. The cart can explore areas that cars are unable to enter giving a different feel of Bagan.

In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Yangon. Upon the arrival, transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast, day at leisure until transfer to airport for international departure flight.
