Greeted at Yangon Airport, a country road takes us to the heart of the former Burmese capital. Installation at your hotel. Discovery in Yangon is started with a visit to Chaukhtatgyi pyay, the largest Buddha statue in Myanmar. Followed by a walk to Shwedagon Pagoda, the most prominent Buddha monument with the highest tower made of gold and diamonds, shining in the sky of Yangon. Afternoon, visit the Royal Lake of Yangon.

Enjoy a visit to Scott Market, the sprawling 75-year-old Market. At the market you will find a whole variety of interesting Burmese souvenirs, from lacquer ware to gems & jewelry – bargain at the stores to fully experience the Burmese market atmosphere! Drive through the city and observe the influences of other cultures in the region. Intersperse in the tour are various religious sites such as the St Mary’s Cathedral, built in 1899. Then visit Little India and Chinatown – stop to greet the vendors and let them introduce you to their wares – some familiar, some exotic.

Private transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon your arrival at Bagan Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and driver, who will accompany you on a sightseeing tour of Bagan. In the afternoon, you will return to Bagan, concluding your visits with exploration of the Minnanthu area and the lesser-known temples of Payathonzu and Nandamannya, as well as the Sin Phyu Shin monastic complex and Tayoke Pyay temple.

Visit Shwezigon Pagoda with its covered dome and temples Htilominlo and Kyanzittha Umin. It is in the small village of Myinkaba that you can visit lacquer workshops, a specialty of Bagan. Free time to do some shopping and orientation tour of the surrounding monuments: Gubyuakgyi Pagoda, Manuha and Nanpaya temples. Continuation of visits to old Bagan: the monumental temples of Gawdawpalin and Mingalazedi, the great temple of Ananda. You will end this day with a carriage ride.

Today drive toward Mount Popa, an extinct volcano standing 1518 metres high. Mount Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. Learn about nats and nat worship as you climb the stairs to the top with your local guide. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the volcanic peak is impressive. Then drive to Mandalay.

Reception and transfer for the discovery of Mandalay including the visit of Amarapura. It is surprising to see thousands of monks preparing and queuing for lunch in the Mahagandaryone Monastery. Then, take a stroll on U Bein Bridge, the longest teakwood bridge to Mahamuni Pagoda. Afternoon departure to Ava and visit Kaunghmudaw pagoda. Continue to Sagaing Hill, where you will see the different lives of monks and religions. Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda with a magnificent view of Mandalay and its river.

Cruise for Mingun, well known for its huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi pagoda and the Mingun bell with 90 different ringtones. Next by a walk to Myatheindan pagoda. After lunch, visit the Mandalay Palace, built by the last king of Myanmar and visit the Kothudaw pagoda, the largest book with 729 pages preserved in the white stupa. You end your day with a magnificent twilight view of Mandalay Hill.

Departure to Hsipaw by road or Chinese and Burmese exchange their trade. Along the way, stop to visit Aung Thu KanThaPayaet and the small town Kyaukme, where live from the ethnic Shan, Chinese and Indian.

Overnight  in Hsipaw.

If your heart tells you, get up early to visit the local market. It happens daily from 3:30 am and finish 3 hours later. Back to the hotel for breakfast. This day you can hike through the villages of local people with the local guide. During the hike, you can meet with local people on their rice fields or at home. Then, boat ride on the river, you can enjoy the landscape of the valley and crops along the river. During the boat ride, visit the Shan ethnic village before returning to the hotel.

Discover Hsipaw -0

After breakfast, transfer to Hsipaw station for the train to Pyin U Lwin. During the train trip, you will cross the Viaduct Gokhteik Bridge, this famous metal bridge is built by the English over 100 years before and is 300 m above the river gorge. On your arrival at Pyin U Lwin. Join the driver to discover the city. Pyin U Lwin (Maymyo), the climatic spa of the British colonial era, here the houses are built in the Victoria style. Visit the local market and walk around the neighborhood to admire old houses of the time. Continue to Mandalay by car.

After breakfast, early drive to Kalaw. Upon arrival, visit around Kalaw, hill station as well as peaceful summer resort nestled in pine-clad mountains, is 1,400 meters above sea-level. It is located 70 km west of Taunggyi.

Transfer to the trekking point. Then, start trekking to Inle. On the way, you can see many villages and beautiful scenery and traditional life of village. Proceed to view point with a small shop for picked lunch. Enjoy beautiful sceneries and panorama from view point. Total trekking hours are about 5 hrs for the whole day.

Overnight  in Inle.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the main market which is held only every 5 days in different villages around the lake. It is undoubtedly a fascinating and colorful place, you will meet here a large number of the minorities and local products abonndants. You will join the temple of Indein by boat, located on the hill overlooking a beautiful view of the lake. It’s really great to walk along the corridor and enjoy the giant natural columns for centuries.

After breakfast, proceed to by road to Pindaya and visit Pinday Caves, a unique site housing thousand of Buddha images places there by pilgrims and devotes over the centuries. A scenic drive takes us to Nyaung Shwe and on the way we will visit Shwe Yan Pyae monastery. Then transfer to hotel in Inle and enjoy the leisure time.

Overnight  in Inle.

Flight from Inle to Thandwe. Transfer from Thandwe Airport for flight back to Yangon and transit in Yangon before flight to your next destination.
