After breakfast, we’ll embark on a Kathmandu tour, exploring the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites within the valley. These include:

  • Swayambhunath: The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, renowned as the Monkey Temple.
  • Pashupatinath: A sacred Hindu pilgrimage site where you’ll encounter Sadhus (Holy Men) adorned with ashes and matted dreadlocks. Here, you can witness the distinctive cremation rituals at the Hindu Crematorium.
  • Boudhanath: The world’s largest Buddhist temple, surrounded by monasteries. You can observe Holy Monks engaged in chanting rituals and pilgrims performing kora around the temple.
  • Patan Durbar Square: A Medieval Royal Palace area celebrated for its exquisite fine arts, metalwork, and stone carvings dating back to the 14th century. It’s a prime location to admire the splendid Nepali Architecture.

Your day kicks off with an early drive to Besi Sahar, a picturesque town nestled in the mid-hills of Nepal, acting as the entry point to the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The approximately 6-hour bus journey offers captivating views of the Trishuli River meandering beneath lush green hills, ensuring an engaging ride.

Today’s adventure leads you northward to Chame village, the administrative center of Manang District. The journey, traversing alongside the Marshayangdi River, spans approximately 5-6 hours by a local jeep. Your overnight stopover awaits you in Chame, nestled at the base of Annapurna II.

Your trek officially commences from Chame, leading you uphill through lush forests to the charming town of Pisang. During the 6-hour hike, you’ll traverse villages like Talekhu, Bhratang, and Dhikur Pokhari. In the afternoon, take the opportunity to explore a local Buddhist monastery in Upper Pisang. Your overnight accommodations await you at a tea house, offering a stunning view of Pisang Peak (6091m).

Today’s trek involves a 5-hour ascent from Upper Pisang to Manang village, passing through Ngawal and Ghyaru villages. Manang Village, with its strong Tibetan Buddhist culture, is influenced by its proximity to Tibet.

This day is for acclimatization. While resting is fine, exploring the area or taking a short village hike aids acclimatization and makes the journey ahead smoother.

Following breakfast, you’ll ascend towards Yak Kharka, a place known as the Yak pasture land, where you’ll encounter numerous yaks along the trail. Enjoy the scenery of juniper trees and the Gunsang village settlement during your 6-hour hike. You’ll spend the night in a tea house at Yak Kharka.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you’ll commence your journey towards Thorong Phedi, your overnight destination and the base for the renowned Thorong-la Pass.

This day involves a 12-hour hike, beginning with an early morning ascent to Thorong La Pass, the trek’s highest point, followed by a descent to Muktinath. To avoid unpredictable weather at Thorong La Pass, you’ll start early, hiking for about 4-5 hours. The panoramic view of snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, and more, is well worth the effort. The trail then descends steeply to Muktinath, a sacred site for Hindus and Buddhists.

In the morning, you’ll visit the Muktinath temple, witnessing pilgrims taking showers beneath 108 water taps and immersing themselves in the cold water kundas in front of the temple. After exploring this sacred site and its surroundings, embark on a 5-hour descent to the stunning town of Jomsom.

Overnight in Jomsom .

Departing from Jomsom, you’ll take the earliest available flight to Pokhara, providing stunning views of the Annapurna massif and its conservation area. In Pokhara, explore the city, visit caves and waterfalls, and consider partaking in adventure sports like boating and zip-lining. Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely bike ride around the lakeside.

Overnight in Pokhara.

Your return journey to Kathmandu offers two options: a 30-minute flight, which may experience delays due to frequent rainfall in Pokhara, or a 6-hour bus ride. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll have ample time for city exploration and souvenir shopping. In the evening, our team will host a special dinner featuring a Nepalese cultural show. Your overnight accommodations will be at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.
