Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam’s captivating capital, where the charm of its French colonial history mingles seamlessly with the energetic buzz of modern Asia. In this city, you’ll discover a blend of traditional architecture, serene lakes, and the constant movement of countless motorbikes alongside a thriving cosmopolitan scene with trendy restaurants and boutiques.

You will be met on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport with a welcome signboard with your names on it and a private transfer to your selected hotel, allowing you to settle in and start exploring the city at your own pace, either by enjoying the hotel amenities or venturing out for your initial taste of Hanoi’s unique atmosphere.

8:00-8:30: Our Tour guide and our Bus will pick up at your hotel and start to discover Hanoi City

08:45: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnamese great-father Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.

Then visit One Pillar Pagoda, where the Goddess of Mercy is worshipped —it is the most unique pagoda in the world.

10:15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

12:30-12:45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Vegetarian foods are available.

13:30: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.

14:30: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070.

15:30: Keep going to visit Hoa Lo Prison, the prison was built by the French, from 1886 to 1901, when Vietnam was still a part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. The prison was called “A Hell on Earth” and now the prison is like a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against France of Vietnamese people.

16:30: Our Bus will take you back to the Hotel. We finish the trip!

Special Note:

  • We will visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead of the Vietnam Ethnology Museum, which is closed on Mondays.
  • Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas, etc.
  • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. But still can take pictures of the Mausoleum and visit that area.
  • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining.

After breakfast, meet your driver at the hotel for a picturesque five-hour drive to Sapa in a shared limousine. Nestled in a serene valley surrounded by majestic mountains and verdant rice terraces, Sapa is home to many of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority tribes and offers a window into their rich cultures.

Originally established as a French hill station in 1922, Sapa has become a must-visit destination in Northwest Vietnam. Upon arriving in Sapa Town at noon, you’ll be greeted by vibrant traditional attire worn by the Hmong, Dzao, and Tay people. Savor a delicious lunch featuring local Vietnamese cuisine before completing your check-in.

In the afternoon, visit the stunning Silver Waterfall, where cascading waters glisten against the mountainside, creating a peaceful and awe-inspiring scene. Continue to the majestic Heaven’s Gate (O Quy Ho Pass), where you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, including the towering Fansipan Peak. This scenic drive is perfect for capturing unforgettable photos of Sapa’s natural beauty.

Return to your hotel in Sapa to relax and unwind.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before meeting your guide for an unforgettable trekking journey through the stunning landscapes of Lao Chai, Ta Van, and Giang Ta Chai villages.

Begin by walking along a road before descending a scenic trail into the valley. Visit Y Linh Ho, a Black Hmong village by the Muong Hoa River, and then continue to Lao Chai, home to one of Sapa’s largest ethnic groups. Learn about the Black Hmong’s vibrant culture, traditional indigo clothing, and their transition from a nomadic to a settled lifestyle.

Enjoy a restful lunch in a local household before trekking to Ta Van village, home to the Zay people. This small ethnic group preserves elements of their traditional life, with wooden and bamboo houses and colorful attire.

In the afternoon, hike through rolling hills and a bamboo forest, pausing to admire a picturesque waterfall before reaching Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao village. Meet the villagers, learn about their unique customs, and observe their daily activities.

After completing your trek, head to Lao Cai station for your night train back to Hanoi. Travel in comfort aboard a fully air-conditioned train in a shared four-berth soft sleeper cabin. Depart around 21:00 and arrive in Hanoi by 5:30 the following morning.

Arrive early at Hanoi Railway Station, where our representative will warmly greet you and escort you to a nearby hotel. Enjoy a light breakfast at the hotel restaurant before meeting your driver and guide for a scenic transfer to Hai Phong. Here, you’ll embark on an unforgettable overnight cruise through the breathtaking Halong Bay.

Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its serene emerald waters and nearly 2,000 karst limestone peaks rising dramatically from the sea. The forested islands, dotted with caves and teeming with birdlife, offer a truly magical backdrop. Whether shrouded in mist or glowing under the sun, this bay promises one of Vietnam’s most iconic experiences.

Arrive at the pier in late morning to board your boat. After check-in, settle into your cabin and savor a delicious lunch as the cruise begins its journey. Marvel at stunning rock formations as you glide through Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. As the day winds down, anchor amidst the calm waters to watch the sunset, followed by a delightful dinner onboard.

Begin your day with a tranquil Tai Chi session on the deck of your junk boat, embracing a local tradition amidst Halong Bay’s serene beauty. Afterward, join a “Local Specialist” to deepen your appreciation of the bay’s natural wonders.

Take an early morning swim at one of Halong Bay’s quiet beaches, or, for the adventurous, explore the Dark and Bright Caves by kayak, marveling at their glistening stone formations.

Back on board, enjoy a sumptuous brunch buffet as the boat glides through the bay, offering final glimpses of its breathtaking scenery. Disembark around midday and begin your scenic return journey to Hanoi. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a restful evening.
