We were very pleased with the trip. I have no complaints. My husband and I have traveled a lot, and there are a few things that would make the trip even better. In Hanoi, I would recommend doing the walking food tour the first night. After that huge lunch where we met you, we were not hungry for dinner:)

The trip to Halong Bay, start to finish, was fabulous. In Hoi An, the guide was the strongest of the three. She was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly. Her recommendations to restaurants were great, and she was very helpful. She even made us reservations for dinner one evening, which was very kind. The cooking class was a definite highlight – and Van made it memorable, for sure. The hotel was okay – the room was really large and everyone there helpful. The NYE celebration was a bit loud, but thankfully ended early. Overall, we loved our time in Hoi An.
