After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to the outskirts of Saigon to visit the iconic Cu Chi Tunnels.
Originally constructed in 1948 as a refuge from French forces, these tunnels evolved into a complex network of underground hideouts used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Explore these tunnels, which served as living quarters, communication routes, hospitals, and storage for food and weapons.
During the tour you will have a chance to meet a Viet Cong veteran who once lived in these tunnels, gaining valuable insights into their history and the incredible resilience of the Vietnamese during wartime. With your translator-guide’s assistance, listen to the veteran’s firsthand experiences, painting a vivid picture of life in these subterranean hamlets during challenging times. Finish the tunnel tour and return to the city enjoying lunch at a local restaurant en route.
In the afternoon, explore the Notre Dame Cathedral and the adjacent Central Post Office, both rich in architectural beauty and history. Admire the red brick cathedral with twin spires and the 1891 Post Office.
Continue to visit the former Presidential Palace, once the Saigon Government headquarters during the American War. Nearby, explore the War Remnants Museum, offering a poignant perspective on the war. (Note: Some exhibits are graphic.)
Experience Saigon’s famous street coffee culture with your guide, who will provide language insights and share the daily life of Saigonese residents.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart HCM City to embark on a captivating journey to Cai Be, nestled in the heart of the Mekong Delta. This journey is an invitation to explore the fascinating charm of this tranquil town, where the fertile land of the Mekong Delta welcomes visitors with warm smiles and serene gardens.
After two hours of driving you will arrive in Cai Be. You will be met with a local guide who will take you on a guided tour to visit a unique Cao Dai Temple and explore a lively local market, savoring fresh tropical fruits and experiencing the town’s history at a 200-year-old French colonial house.
Next, take a local ferry to Tan Phong Isles, where you’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch at Mekong Rustic Home. Afterward, go on a scenic bicycle tour, visiting a local farmer’s house for tea and banana candies. Taste hand-picked fruits while enjoying traditional Don Ca Tai Tu music.
Before departing Tan Phong Isles, don’t miss the chance to visit a conical hat workshop to witness the intricate craftsmanship involved. Return to the pier via a local ferry for a short drive to Can Tho for an overnight stay, ensuring that your experience in the Mekong Delta is not only enriching but also deeply memorable. After breakfast at the hotel, take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River), then proceed to visit the Cai Rang floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole religion. Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and roam through the village, seeing many fruit gardens. Visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles-making shop. Back to the riverside for lunch before transferring to Can Tho Airport for a short flight to the tranquil coastal Danang, then transfer to Hoian.
Once you arrive in Hoian, settle into your accommodations and immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of this ancient town. Explore its lantern-lit streets, savor local delicacies, and discover the unique blend of culture and heritage that makes Hoi An an unforgettable destination for travelers.

The highlight of the day is the visit to the Reaching Out Tea House, run by mute and deaf individuals. Savor delightful cakes and Eastern-style tea. Discover the art of lantern-making at a craftsman’s house, where you’ll create your lantern with expert guidance.
Wrap up your day with a Hoian street food tour, led by our guide. Wander through narrow alleyways to sample local delicacies and gain insight into how Hoian locals enjoy their vibrant street food scene.

After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the charming town of Hoi An as your journey leads you northward towards Hue. You will embark on a scenic car ride from Hoi An to Da Nang, witnessing the captivating landscapes of central Vietnam unfold before you.
Upon reaching Da Nang, you’ll board a train for a unique rail journey to Hue. This leisurely train ride will take you through the stunning Hai Van Pass, renowned for its breathtaking scenery. As you traverse this picturesque route, the “Sea Cloudy Pass” will reveal its mesmerizing vistas of the coastline and the city of Da Nang nestled below. The train journey provides ample opportunities to soak in the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region, making it an unforgettable part of your journey.
Upon your arrival in Hue, you’ll find yourself in a city steeped in history and culture. After checking in at your hotel, you’ll have the option to either relax and unwind in the comfort of your hotel or venture out to explore the city by night. After breakfast, the day begins with a visit to the Imperial City, a UNESCO heritage site. The tours start at the “South Gate” and continue with the Palace of the Five Phoenixes, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Nine Dynastic Urns dating back to 1835, the Thai Mieu Temple, the Queen Mother’s Palace, and more. The visit continues to the famous Thien Mu Pagoda, known for its octagonal tower.
After visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, take a cruise on the Perfume River towards Thuy Bieu village, renowned for its ancestral garden-houses with a unique style, passing by numerous temples belonging to ancestors, a cultural specificity of Hue. Stroll around the town through orchards, vegetable gardens, local craftsmanship, garden houses, and more. Lunch at a family restaurant by the Perfume River, and treat yourself to a brief foot massage.
In the afternoon, visit the mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc, the fourth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. The mausoleum is one of the most impressive royal tombs in Hue. With an area of 12 hectares and over 50 structures, this complex is considered the secondary Imperial City.
Afterwards, explore the Dong Ba Market. At the market, you will have a chance to discover a favorite Noodle soup by Anthony Bourdain – the World Famous Chef and TV Producer. Here you will sample the best Bun Bo Hue “Hue Noddle soup”. Conclude your day of exploration and return to your hotel, where you’ll spend the night in the charming city of Hue.

After a memorable stay in Hue, your journey continues as you embark on a morning flight to Hanoi, Vietnam’s captivating capital. Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be welcomed into a city that seamlessly blends its rich history with the vibrancy of modern life. Hanoi is a city of contrasts, where ancient temples and colonial architecture stand alongside bustling markets and contemporary boutiques.
Your city tour of Hanoi will allow you to explore its many facets, beginning with a visit to the Temple of Literature and Hoa Lo prison, enjoying a captivating cyclo ride through the French colonial precinct, and passing historic landmarks. Pause at Pho Co Café for Egg coffee with stunning views. Conclude the day with a walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, immersing yourself in the vibrant street food scene. Sample delights like green papaya salad, Banh Mi Pa Te, and the iconic Bun Cha, all while seated on tiny plastic stools in charming back alleys.

After breakfast, meet our driver at your hotel for a scenic five-hour drive to Sapa, a tranquil valley surrounded by picturesque mountains and lush paddy fields, home to many of Vietnam’s 54 indigenous minority tribes. Established as a hill station by the French in 1922, Sapa today is a must-visit destination in the Northwest.
Upon arriving in Sapa, you’ll find yourself surrounded by stunning mountain vistas and a climate that invites relaxation and exploration. From here, a range of exciting activities and cultural encounters await, including trekking through the villages and connecting with ethnic minority tribes. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Check in at your hotel and settle in for a restful night in Sapa.

After breakfast, embark on an exhilarating journey through Sapa’s natural wonders, beginning with the iconic Fansipan. Known as the “Roof of Indochina,” Fansipan beckons with its towering presence. Ascend to its summit and revel in the rewarding panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscapes, making this trek a true adventure seeker’s delight.
Next, venture to the Silver Waterfall, a marvel of nature’s beauty. As the waters cascade gracefully down the mountainside, you’ll find yourself enchanted by the shimmering spectacle and the tranquil atmosphere.
Finally, the road leads to the majestic Heaven’s Gate, or “O Quy Ho Pass.” Here, you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, dominated by the mighty Fansipan. After breakfast, our tour guide will accompany you on a 3km trek through the breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho, which is home to the Hmong minority. Along the way, you’ll be treated to stunning views of endless rice terraces, providing ample opportunities for picturesque photographs. Continuing your hike to the picturesque Matra village, passing the ruins of an early 20th-century French Catholic church.
Your trek will lead you deeper into the heart of the region, eventually bringing you to Ta Phin Village, inhabited by the Red Dzao ethnic minority known for their distinctive traditions. Interact with a Red Dzao family over delighted lunch and tea, and gain insights into their lifestyle and herbal medicine expertise.
In the afternoon, leaving behind the misty mountains and terraced rice fields, you’ll begin your descent to Hanoi. Upon arrival, take this opportunity to relax at your chosen accommodation, reminisce about your Sapa adventure, or venture out to explore Hanoi’s streets and markets.

After breakfast at your hotel, you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. The journey is through the rich farmlands where you can observe everyday life of Vietnamese villagers. Arriving in Halong Bay in the late morning and you will board a traditional “junk” boat. You will begin a relaxing and unforgettable cruise around the breathtaking and unique limestone karsts and islets. A delicious fresh seafood lunch will be served as you cruise this spectacular bay, a UNESCO listed site.
Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night. As the sun sets over the bay, dinner is served with fresh seafood, salad, and fruit. You will spend the night in your private cabin aboard the junk in Halong Bay.

Begin your day with the serene practice of Tai Chi, a local custom that eases you into the morning. Join a ‘Local Specialist’ on the deck of the Junk boat amidst the exquisite natural surroundings. There’s time for an early morning swim at one of Halong Bay’s peaceful beaches, and for the more adventurous, take a kayak and paddle through the Dark and Bright Caves, admiring the glistening stone walls.
Return to the junk boat, check out of your cabin, and savor a sumptuous brunch buffet as you cruise back to port. Disembark around midday for your return journey to Hanoi. Upon arrival, relax at the hotel or start exploring the nightlife city at your own pace.
