Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you’ll be greeted by a local guide who will assist with your transfer to the hotel in Siem Reap town for check-in (early check-in is subject to hotel availability). Alternatively, we can drop off our luggage and embark on a tour of Siem Reap, beginning with a visit to Wat Damnak. This exquisite pagoda showcases French colonial architecture, telling the tale of its historical roots. Explore the lush garden adorned with statues and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for some well-deserved refreshments.

Around 4:00 pm, we’ll set out to Phnom Bakheng temple, situated atop a natural hill and constructed in the 9th century. Often referred to as “le-mountain” due to its resemblance to Mount Meru, this temple offers a stunning vantage point for watching the sunset. It’s a popular spot for tourists seeking this captivating view.

Our guide and driver will pick you up early from the hotel for a full-day exploration of the key temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park.

We’ll begin our visit to Angkor Wat temple, explore the temple at various levels (1, 2, and 3) to truly appreciate its architectural marvel and delve into Khmer Culture and Civilization. The temple boasts intricate stone carvings of Apsaras created during the Angkor period.

Next, we’ll venture into the enigmatic Royal city of Angkor Thom, with its remarkable 50-tower temple. Initially appearing as a shapeless mass of stone, it gradually reveals a series of faces, each peering from a distant time. We’ll commence our journey from the South Gate, visiting Bayon, Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, and the Terrace of Elephants.

Enjoy a homemade lunch at the residence of Mr. Peout and his wife, Mrs. Gin. After lunch, our tour continues to Banteay Srei, renowned as the “jewel of Khmer art.” Located an hour from Siem Reap, this red sandstone temple is a masterpiece with walls adorned by intricate carvings, remarkably well-preserved.

On the way back to Siem Reap, we’ll visit the iconic Ta Prohm temple, famous for its appearance in “Tomb Raider.” This temple, nearly engulfed by the jungle, presents an eerie and exotic spectacle.

Early morning, we head to Phnom Krom to witness the sunrise over rice paddies and the floating village of Tonle Sap Lake. Enjoy a picnic breakfast at Phnom Krom’s summit.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out. Our journey to Battambang, Cambodia’s second-largest city, is a 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, visit the Ancient Khmer Traditional House and savor lunch at a local restaurant before checking in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, explore the area with your guide, strolling through the village along the Sangker River. Continue to the remarkable hilltop pagoda of Phnom Sampeau, an imposing limestone formation with caves that hold historical relics. From the hill’s summit, take in panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, where small villages dot the landscape amid endless rice paddies and swaying sugar palm trees.

Descend the hill to await the mesmerizing sight of bats emerging from the cave as night falls. Enjoy a cold beer or soft drink before returning to the hotel in Battambang.

To beat the heat and witness the villagers at work, we’ll start our day early, heading to the Bamboo Train Station. Experience the Bamboo Train, a unique motor-engine-powered bamboo platform that glides along the train rails, offering stunning views of villages and rice paddies while you enjoy the fresh air and have a blast.

Return to the hotel for a late breakfast, check out, and depart for Kampong Luong in Pursat Province. It’s one of the largest floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake. Take a boat ride to explore this village, providing a glimpse into the daily life of Cambodian families living on the water. The floating houses are in constant motion with boats ferrying people and goods to and from the village.

Return to the mainland and proceed to the quaint riverside town of Kampong Chhnang, known for its picturesque landscape and local villages that craft pottery amidst rice fields. Conclude the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

We’ll embark on a picturesque drive through the countryside, heading to the Chambok Eco-tourism community in Kampong Speu Province. During our journey, we’ll make a stop to visit the Natural Hot Spring in Oral District, known as Te Teuk Pus.

After this visit, we’ll continue our drive to the Chambok Eco-tourism community, where we’ll enjoy lunch. Following this, a brief trek will lead us to the Chambok Waterfall, a natural cascade originating from the Kirirom National Park.

Our journey will then take us up to the summit of Kirirom National Park, where you’ll check in at the Vkirirom Resort and have time to freshen up. Subsequently, our guide will arrange a local motorcycle taxi to take you on a thrilling ride through the pine-covered jungle to Thmor Loy, an idyllic vantage point offering breathtaking views of the lush forest from atop a hill.

We drive around on the top of Kirirom Mountain Range, and visit the old silver houseware and the former King Residence before heading out to Sihanouk Ville. Lunch at the local restaurant in Sihanouk Ville, and then we drive around Sihanouk Ville to figure out how the city is before riding the speed boat to Koh Rong Sanloem. The team from Eden Resort will come to welcome us at the boat pier upon arrival and assist us with check-in. Free at leisure.

Start the day with breakfast at the resort. Later, take a speed boat back to Sihanouk Ville and then drive to Phnom Penh. Enjoy lunch during the journey. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, your guide and tuk-tuk driver will pick you up from the hotel to visit Wat Phnom, the central landmark from which Phnom Penh derives its name. Continue your tour with a visit to Wat Unalom, a Buddhist Monastery and the headquarters of one of Cambodia’s most esteemed Buddhist patriarchs. The site also features a post-Angkorean stupa.

Enjoy a tuk-tuk ride for a food tour through the city and along the riverfront. Begin at a riverside bar for a tour presentation by your guide, along with a refreshing cocktail or drink. Explore a bustling local night market and dine with locals at a popular street food spot, indulging in Cambodian-style fresh seafood, a special Saba (mackerel) fish dish, and squid with renowned Kampot pepper.

Venture through the city’s vibrant lights to a trendy nightspot with live music, where you can sample exciting local delicacies. Conclude the evening at the iconic Independence Monument for a glimpse into the city’s history and a fantastic photo opportunity.

Finish the night at one of the city’s stylish rooftop bars, offering a panoramic view of Phnom Penh. This tour includes free-flowing drinks and an all-you-can-eat dining experience, so bring your appetite!
